The drive of a single person can lead him or her to accomplish great things, including his or her dreams. Senior Janessa Salazar’s drive to be different in general is what inspires her to achieve her goal of becoming a prenatal nurse. She has spent her time preparing herself for her future by taking plenty of courses and talking to nurses, and now she wants to achieve her dream.

Senior Samantha Rose Veronica Grant has overcome many obstacles throughout her life. One quote that Sam lives by is, “One day scissors will be for paper again. One day razors will be for shaving again. One day food will be for eating again. One day cutting will be arts and crafts again. One day sadness will be temporary again. You will recover.” This quote speaks volumes to Sam. With her parents being separated and having to constantly go through many obstacles it was difficult for Sam to have a normal childhood.
