Fandoms can mean something to individuals in them.
People who have a strong interest in a particular sport, art form or famous person could could consider themselves to be in a fandom. Fandoms are a way to connect with others through a shared common interest. Whether its a show, book, movie, video game, or music, a fandom is a place that people can band together and tie together people from everywhere.
