Everyone’s life span differs, so people should live life to the fullest. Traveling is a wonderful way to make memories in one’s life.

There are fifty states, seven continents, eight planets, one universe that people can travel to. Priorities vary of where they would like to travel. When traveling, people could be interested  in weather, sights, culture, or food. Students at Plymouth High School came up with some creative, surprising, and funny responses. Sophomore Matt Feece said, “I think I would go to Pluto, assuming I [should] at least have a winter jacket or something. It’s pretty cold out there.”  The imagination in Feece’s mind is inspiring to a few people. When asked, Feece explained why he would like to visit Pluto, his response was, “Are you kidding me? Pluto is awesome!” Although Feece’s response is unique it is impractical with today’s technology.  Junior Shelby Haisley had a more realistic idea about traveling with today’s technology. Haisley said, “I would go to Ireland because my ancestors are from there and I would love to visit where they came from.” Senior Bellinda Bottorff and Haisley both have the same opinions about going to Ireland, which is visiting where their ancestors came from. Along with wanting to see where her ancestors came from, Bottorff also said, “It seems like a pretty cool place to experience.” Family seems to be a reason why the students would like to travel to another place.

Among those interviewed, Australia seemed to be the most popular place to travel to. Stephanie Boyle and Anna Piazza, both sophomores, picked to adventure to Australia. Boyle wants to travel to Australia so she can see a kangaroo and to visit the opera house in Sydney. Boyle would like to more inside the towns than Piazza would. Piazza said “I would definitely go to Australia where I would sightsee the reefs and beaches and just tons of places!” Earth is filled with numerous places where someone could travel so one could see how it would be hard to pick just one. Freshman Elizabeth Gallardo would like to travel to Italy and Australia. Gallardo said “I would love to go to Australia because I want to see the coral reef and to see kangaroos. I also want to go to Italy because I think it’s so beautiful and I would like to see all their building structures.” After reading a few of the students reasons why they want to go Australia, it is easy to see why to see why it is so popular.

Children often think of wacky and crazy ideas since they do not know what realism is. Sadly, when a child reaches the point when they can comprehend realism, we forget the old dreams and make new ones. But in this case, freshman Adrianna Enders and Gallardo both want to stick to their childhood ideas. Enders wants to travel to Paris because it is the fashion capital of the world and she wants to see how people there are different from people here. Enders said “I would want to live there. It seems like a good place to raise a family.” Junior Amanda Wolford is also a student that is following her childhood imagination. Wolford wants to go to Greece because it is so beautiful, her family is from there, and it would be cool to see all the scenery. Junior Yoselin Galeano is yet another student that has wanted to travel to a foreign country since she was little. Galeano would like to travel to Africa because she wants to go to a place where she can help the less fortunate. Galeano said, “I have always wanted to go there. I can’t remember since when but I have always wanted to travel to a poor country.” Perhaps, people might change their plans on where they would like to travel or they would like to continue to follow their dreams.
