Sometimes high school students do not know what they will be doing after high school; they do not have a plan set in motion. Well that is not true for some students at Plymouth High School.
Senior Aaron Robbins has a plan set in motion for when he gets out of high school. When asked where he thinks he will be in ten years, Robbins said, “Hopefully I am out of college and practicing corporate law.” But first things first, Robbins has to take things step by step, just like in his plan. Robbins said that the first step is to graduate from high school. The second thing he wants to do is get into a respected college for his field of study. The last step he says he will need to take after finishing college is to submit his resume to several various law firms with the hopes that he will be accepted into one.
When asked what he will do after getting a job, Robbins says, “I plan on becoming a corporate lawyer. I would prefer to start out small at a firm in Indiana, but after a couple of years I plan on moving to a large city to make more money. Finally, when I am older, I would enjoy going into politics.” Robbins has everything set in motion for his plan.
Another student that is setting up her plan is sophomore Janessa Salazar. Salazar is hoping to make it through college and on to the working field as a doctor. The steps that she said she would take to get there are, “Get good grades, stay out of trouble, and do as much as I can to achieve my goal.” Even though Salazar has a plan set for her life ahead, she is still not sure what awaits her on the road ahead. “I’m just going to go wherever life takes me.”

Salazar was asked when she thought she would achieve some of her goals. She said, “Through the courses of many years in college and working hard to be the best doctor I can be.” When asked Salazar to describe who she thinks she will be 10 years from where she is, Salazar said, “I will be the same as always, I will care too much about people and helping anyone who needs it. While in the course working to achieve my goals. I hope I learn more skills, and grow into something better than what I am now.”
Salazar has her plans set and ready to go, but what Salazar thinks she will own in 10 years, Salazar had this to say, “Maybe a house and just maybe still paying off my car. Who knows really?”
