Starting November 1st, or even before, teachers and students at PHS and around the globe will participate in Noshember, which is short for No Shave November. Noshember is meant to raise cancer awareness and funds to support cancer prevention, research and education. People that participate may not really know the reason for participating. Senior Jordan Bowering said, “No Shave November is a month that nobody is supposed to shave, except women of course, and wait until the end of the month to shave.” This is kind of what Noshember is, but it is also not the whole definition.
