While exploring the greatest moments of someone else’s life, some can not help but begin to imagine the greatest moments in their lives as well.  These moments come in good times or in bad times, big or small.

Freshman Jake Dewar states that the greatest moment in his life was when he made varsity on the football team.  “Personally it made me a better person and player.  Emotionally it got me closer with the team.  Physically it made me a stronger player,” said Dewar.

The greatest moments in life are sometimes hard to find.  As individuals search, they will surely find it.  Junior Alli Rust’s moment involves her family and the connection they made to her younger brothers when they were adopted into her family.“There was so much going on so I was overwhelmed but happy and nervous and scared.  I just didn’t know what to think.  Everything was so different,” says Rust.  She describes this moment as a life changer.  “It really changed my entire family’s life,” she said.

Dewar describes his moment as exhilarating. “Being under the lights was scary and heart pumping at the same time.  I feel on top of the world, because I know I earned it,” says Dewar.  Junior Shannon May has a different perspective on her greatest moment.  Her greatest moment was found when driving.  “Whenever I think of driving I feel happy because I really enjoy driving.  I relive it at least twice a day,” says May.

All three of the students find comfort in their greatest moments.  “When I am angry with my brothers I relive it to calm down and remind myself that I love them,”  says Rust.  Dewar has a different opinion on his moment.  “It made me and the people around me very proud.  I’ve shared it with mostly everybody,” says Dewar.May’s moment is while she’s driving, so she had a different approach on dealing with things.  “I usually go for a drive when I am angry,” states May.

Every student is different and although there are many different moments for each individual, these three have given light on their moments and what they mean to them.
