Plymouth High School students are eager for the 2011-2012 school year to end, so they can enjoy summer.

Sophomore Blake Milliser will be traveling quite a bit this summer. He will be going to Iowa, California and Arizona and for many different reasons. He spends most of the time at the Plymouth Public Pool on those hot summer days as a lifeguard.  Milliser’s dream summer involves making money, hanging out with friends and traveling out west. “Just getting through this year I need a break from school,” said Milliser. The upcoming school year is not exciting to him.

“Going on a vacation where I have to fly in a plane” is freshman Hope Banghart’s dream vacation. Banghart plans on spending her free time watching her brother and boyfriend play baseball. When there is nothing to do, and it is nice and hot out she will be swimming. She is pumped for this next school year because she gets to be more involved with the school.

“I am going to be doing summer tennis and will also be working on my pieces for speech” said freshman Kathryn Hickman on her plans for summer. Her dream for summer is to catch up with old friends.  On hot days Hickman plays tennis then with her free time she swims and keeps herself cool. Studying and work are what come to Hickman’s mind when she thinks of the next school year.

Junior Megan Senter will be traveling out of state to Florida and Illinois to visit family in both states. Her dream  summer plans would be doing nothing but relaxing and swimming. But this summer she will be swimming and doing color guard competitively. On time she has off of work, she enjoys the hot days by being outside swimming in the pool or at the lake. This following school year will be Senter’s senior year and she has mixed emotions about it.

“It’s the summer. Who would want to do anything else than chill and hang with your friends?” said freshman Faith Hutchens. She will be staying in the state because she will be attending summer school. The best summer that Hutchens dreams about is making money and babysitting. “I know what it is like to be in High school and it is really easy and simple,” said Hutchens. This next school year has Hutchens ready and excited.

Freshman Danica Lueth will be traveling out of state to Tennessee and Illinois. She will be going to Tennessee on a family vacation, and Illinois for a concert and a family reunion. Hot summer days push Lueth to air conditioning and swimming.
