Ms. Alvarado teaches Health Careers at PHS.

From the hospital to the classroom, Ms. Maribel Alvarado knows how to take care of others. New to PHS, Ms. Alvarado teaches Health and Careers Part 2 A and B. She also currently works at Community Hospital of Bremen, where she gained teaching experience.

She said, “I taught prenatal classes, fetal monitoring, safe sitter, and I presented for M.D.s,  R.N.s,  and social workers at the surrounding hospitals.”

Ms. Alvarado graduated from Ball State. Her favorite subject to teach is nursing.

She said, “I love nursing, and taking care of others.”

She is passionate about caring for others.

Ms. Alvarado said, “One of my greatest successes is impacting people’s lives and encouraging others to learn.”

She said, “I would describe myself  as a person who is always dedicated in everything I do, compassionate, caring, strong, outgoing, and passionate about nursing and teaching.”

Ms. Alvarado looks forward to teaching students how to transition from the classroom to a medical career at the hospital.
