Congratulations to the Plymouth High School Spell Bowl Team who has now qualified for the state finals three years in a row! 

Monday night, high schools statewide competed for a spot in the State Finals. In Class 1, Penn and Martinsville tied for first place in the state with perfect scores of 90. PHS qualified with a school record score of 84, or second place in Class 1.

Perfect spellers were Nicole Splix, Pauline Dagaas, Grace Stokes, Abby Schumacher, Anna Piazza, Nate Mahan, and Kelsey Schneiders.

Kurt Corsbie and Ashley Stokes had near perfect scores, and Zach Lee performed admirably in his first competition.

Good luck to the team as they compete at Purdue University for the Indiana State Spell Bowl Finals on November 10th!
