Most people don’t know that… “For the past four years I have been a leader in the Radio/TV Broadcasting class by editing, shooting video, writing scripts, producing PTV Podcasts each semester.”
“My sophomore year I really got interested in shooting football highlights at the Rockpile on Friday nights. I used to go to the games with my friends, but after Mr. McKenzie offered me credit to actually shoot the games, I decided to take the offer and film. Last year, Ms. Lykowski starting teaching the class and she offered me the same assignment. This year, I got to go to the ND vs. Miami (FL) football game at the University of Notre Dame and shoot as a member of the media. I used this experience to put together a video piece that aired on our PTV show and can now be seen on YouTube. I will be using this piece on my resume. I also had the opportunity to go to the ND vs. Virginia basketball game this year as well, my video just aired on last week’s PTV show.Today I shot my first commercial for the Sugar Shack Bakery during our third hour. Tomorrow I’ll be looking at the video and picking shots that will go in the finished :30 second project.”
“I hope to use my experience from the Radio/TV program to make a career in the radio, television, film or a related industry. I plan to go continue my education at Ball State or IUSB this fall by studying a related subject.”
My best childhood memory is… “I think I would say going to my grandma’s house here in Plymouth on Saturdays. She makes my favorite dish every weekend and I get to come over and spend time with both my grandma and grandpa.”
Favorite song is… “Runaway by Kanye West and why is because the beat is good and I like the lyrics and it makes me in a good mood.”
If I had one superpower, it’d be… “flying because I can travel across the world without paying for a plane ticket.”
