Mrs. Gasca is one of the new teachers at Plymouth High School.

She has been a teacher for eight years at Munster High School. She made the switch from Munster to Plymouth because her husband’s company was relocated here.

“I have always loved science and after I graduated I returned to get my teaching certificate,” Mrs.Gasca said.

Her favorite moment as a teacher is getting to see her previous students who have graduated and hearing their accomplishments. So far, she has enjoyed her time being at PHS.

“My teaching style is a little bit of direct instruction when presenting new information, but also as a facilitator when we are doing a lab or activity,” Mrs.Gasca said.

As a student, she enjoyed high school. She was a good student who always completed her work.  When she wasn’t doing school work, she was busy with sports and her part time job. Mrs.Gasca had a small group of friends who she was close to and talks to them still to this day.  To her, PHS is very similar to her own high school.
