Friendships change all the time. Many friendships grow stronger as time goes on, but some seem to fall apart. At Plymouth High School though, friendships seem to just keep growing, and new connections are being formed everyday.<\/strong><\/strong>A lot of the time friends find that their relationships with others change. Sometimes these changes are good and sometimes not. However, for most teens at Plymouth High School, their friendships keep growing and sometimes even change in a brighter way. Anya Hettich, \u00a0for example, is a freshman at Plymouth High School (PHS) who enjoys being with her friends. While she says that \u201ceveryone changes in little ways,\u201d Anya also says that her best friend is still more like a sister to her than a friend. Another student that would agree with Anya about best friends being more like family is student Sarah Relos, also a freshman. Sarah has two best friends that she spends time with. They make plans to go to the movies or hang out at each other\u2019s houses. Sarah says that she and her friends still have a \u201cfantastic friendship.\u201d Sarah has been friends with her two best friends for a long time. Sarah says that only a little has changed because of her friends playing volleyball. Fortunately, that is not stopping their friendship.<\/div>\n

For another student, close friendships seem to have drifted apart, but new ones are always being made. Freshman Maggie Phillips says, \u201cI\u2019ve grown apart from my closest friends. But I\u2019ve made friends with people I thought I\u2019d never be friends with.\u201d Evidently, while connections may change, others stand strong. Phillips still trusts her old friends just as much as she does her new friends. She and her old friends stay true to each other and accept that things between them are changing, but they will always stay friends. When asked to describe her friends, Phillips says, \u201cI had a few close friends and there are some things that we disagree on but people are just starting to change and figure out who they are. Everyone is becoming independent.\u201d<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
