Pickell only uses his phone to text and call. He does not have any apps to waste time on. The downside to Pickell’s phone is that it has terrible service and has high prices. He lets his parents deal with all the contracts and billing because he is too young to trouble himself with such things. Pickell’s dream phone is the iPhone. “It would assist greatly in my communications and political activism,” said Pickell.

“AT&T has good service for the most part” said Freshman Danica Lueth. She has had the same phone for two years and is using the phone company AT&T. Lueth’s mother picked her phone out for her due to the fact that it was a gift. Lueth says that AT&T has good service but she really has no apps or any extra features on her phone. When Lueth compares her phone with friends she said, “mine is normally the worst.”

Freshman Kennedy Jones uses Verizon and she picked out her full keyboard phone. Jones says the phone gets “good service.” Jones enjoys the phone she has because it is simple.

“The LG Vortex is convenient and it has the features of a camera, internet, apps, and voice mail” said freshman Kirsten Pressler. Pressler uses two apps on her phone to pass the time and the others to listen to music and to stay in touch with people. She uses the internet on her phone because it is handy and she can look stuff up while she is on the go. She uses apps such as Facebook, Fruit Slice, Words with Friends and many more. Pressler got a hand-me-down phone from her grandmother because she needed it for various activities. Pressler has her dream phone and she says it is way better than the iPhone.

Freshman Reneh Gambrel uses an Android phone. Gambrel uses the apps Angry Birds, Skype, Temple Run and many more. On her free time or when she is just bored she uses these apps. Gambrel chose the phone herself and it came with plenty of features. Gambrel’s dream phone would be an iPhone.

By Courtney Edge Students share their likes and dislikes for their phone and the type of apps they have on their phone.

[8

post-4683","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-feature
