By Jaidlyn Larimore<\/em><\/p>\n On Friday August 26, Plymouth High School had a blood drive. The operators claim that when donors donate one pint of blood, they save three lives. Waggoner said, \u201cI didn’t have any side effects. People were making me nervous by telling me I was going to be dizzy, but I wasn’t at all.\u201d Horvath had a different effect; she claimed she felt dizzy and exhausted while working that day after school. So obviously it differs between people.<\/p>\n It seems that Waggoner and Horvath both said they were not scared of the needle. \nThe blood drive is where several students and some teachers donated blood. Junior Amber Waggoner donated blood because she thought it would be cool to save a few lives. Waggoner also thought it would be a awesome experience. Waggoner is hoping to donate blood again next year for her senior year. Junior, Britney Horvath, donated blood because \u201cshe never given blood before.\u201d Since it was Horvath\u2019s first time giving blood, she was kind of nervous. After Horvath was done, she realized it was not so bad after all.<\/p>\n
