Hobbies can be anything from drawing, to finding rocks, and collecting shells. Hobbies can be found anywhere such as, at home, at school, and at the beach. \u00a0Hobbies can relax everybody and they can be fun.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Miss Cristine Good, JESSE Aide\u00a0 commented, \u201cThursday nights I bowl in a woman\u2019s league, and [I] participate in a co-ed volleyball league on Sundays at the LifePlex. \u00a0I also own several animals.\u201d Junior Andrew Benson\u2019s favorite hobby is collecting rocks. \u00a0\u201cI like to look for different kinds of rocks and arrow heads,\u201d he said. \u00a0It doesn\u2019t matter what their hobbies are, as long as students and teachers have fun with their hobbies. \u00a0Sophomore Abby Gouker said her hobbies are \u201cvolleyball, pro wrestling, [and] football.\u201d \u00a0Sophomore Maddy Good said her hobbies are \u201ctaking pictures.\u201d \u00a0Mrs. Shirley Gidley, substitute teacher said, \u201cI like to do all types of stuff of needle crafts, I also \u00a0like to do yard work and flower gardening. \u00a0I also like to cook and read. \u00a0I [did] play lots of golf.\u201d \u00a0Teacher, Mr. Kevin Stuckmeyer said his hobbies are golf, watching Michigan football and basketball. Mrs. Magee, nurse, said her hobbies are \u201crunning, cooking, [and] reading.\u201d Librarian, Mr. Mayer said his hobbies are watching movies. \u00a0\u201cI watch more than just about anyone I know,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>It gets time-consuming to get the hobby done. Miss Good said, \u201cI find time for at least one of my hobbies everyday. \u00a0It\u2019s not difficult to squeeze a few minutes of reading each day.\u201d Benson said that he finds it difficult to find time for his hobby because he works everyday after school. Hobbies can be a good thing, but also a bad thing because they can be distracting. Gouker said that her hobbies do affect her life. Although students and teachers have busy lives, they always find time to squeeze in their hobbies. Mr. Stuckmeyer said, \u00a0\u201cMost people cannot understand why I live and die based on a football team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Some hobbies involve being inside or outside. Mr. Stuckmeyer said, \u201cyes football games and golf are all outside.\u201d \u00a0Mrs. Gidley said, \u201cmy gardening and flowers are outside projects.\u201d Good\u2019s hobby involves being outside. \u201cI love taking pictures of my puppy outside or nature.\u201d Mr. Stuckmeyer said \u201cI find room for Michigan football and golf is a lot more difficult\u201d to squeeze in. Miss Gidley commented, it is not difficult to squeeze in her hobbies in her everyday life. Mrs. Magee said, \u201cyes, I get up at 4:45 a.m. to run and chat. It\u2019s challenging most days.\u201d Mr. Mayer said, \u201cwith being involved in so many sports at PHS, it makes it hard to fit them in, but I make do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Gidley said, \u201cI guess I would have to say [my favorite hobbies are] needle crafts and I do like telling stories, it is certainly relaxing.\u201d Mr. Stuckmeyer said his favorite hobby is Michigan football. Mrs Magee\u2019s favorite hobby is \u201cprobably running. I like it because I get to socialize with my sister and it is good for me\u201d she said. \u00a0Mr. Mayer\u2019s favorite hobby is watching movies. \u00a0Everyone has at least one favorite hobby. Mr. Mayer said, \u201cI\u2019d like to more \u2018outdoorsy\u2019, like hiking and stuff. \u00a0But that\u2019s pretty hard to do in flat, boring, Plymouth IN.\u201d Mrs Magee said, \u201c I love to cook for family and friends.\u201d Mrs. Gidley said that \u201ctraveling, seeing shows, playing cards etc.\u201d are her favorite hobbies to do with friends. Hobbies are important to have in life so that we can relax.
