He grew up in a family of seven people and is the second youngest out of the lively bunch.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quintana is in his senior year as a member of the Rockies football team and he is also a member of the Plymouth track team. Quintana \u00a0is a right guard on the football team and throws shotput and discus for the track team. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">His plans after high school are not finalized yet, but Quintana said, \u201cI would love to attend the University of Indianapolis where I would like to study youth education.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quintana&#8217;s goals are to follow in his brother&#8217;s footsteps and become a high school football coach. Quintana also said, \u201cI think that it would be pretty cool if one day I could coach for the high school team I grew up playing for.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He loves his dog Lily. She is a terrier mix that loves to have fun and run around in the back yard. One of Quintana\u2019s favorite hobbies is going to the gym and lifting weights as many times a week as he can.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jorge is a staff member of the student publications staff. Quintana explained that he\u00a0joined the class because he was \u00a0\u201casked to join\u201d and &#8220;wanted\u00a0to try something new, I am always down for a challenge.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Coming from the small town of Plymouth, Indiana where it\u2019s mainly corn and beans, Jorge Quintana was born on May 6, 1999.
