Throughout the course of the school year, Plymouth High School runs several charities to help support the community. Not only does the school staff help out, but students from PHS also make an effort to host charities to gain more attention in helping out the community more.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, May 21st and Friday, May 22nd, junior Anya Hettich is hosting a clothing\/shoe donation drive for the Marshall County Neighborhood Center. As part of Key Club, she has promoted this charity for those who have old clothes they no longer need or want. With this, students and staff who want to help out the community can bring in any old clothing items as well as shoes to either the north door or door one at PHS from seven a.m. until school officially starts (7:55 am).<\/p>\n

Who ever brings in clothing items will also have an opportunity to win prizes as well. Several community stores in the downtown area of Plymouth have donated gifts, such as Mooney’s Ice Cream Parlor, who donated three five dollar gift cards. Fernbaugh’s jewelry store and Bourbon Street Pizza donated large free pizzas. Yoder\u2019s has donated an interchangeable (able to return if the size is wrong) Plymouth sweatshirt and the Plymouth Sugar Shack has donated a variety of cupcakes and other sweets to enjoy.<\/p>\n

For every item a student or faculty member of PHS has donated, they will be able to win any of the prizes listed above. It starts today, May 21st, before and after school (until 3:30 pm) and tomorrow as well located at the North (door 5) and Main (door 1) doors. For more information or questions, email Anya Hettich or any other Key Club members, and help out the Marshall County Neighborhood Center.<\/p>\n
