Here and there, in someone\u2019s free time, he or she\u00a0might get bored or just enjoy watching a certain television show. One of the most commonly used sites to watch movies on is Netflix.\u00a0There are students at Plymouth High School who use Netflix.<\/p>\n

On Netflix, there are shows that students enjoy watching. Junior Katy Corsaw, who said she enjoys watching \u201cOrange is the New Black,<\/i>\u201d said, \u201cI love that show because it shows a different side to even the worst of people.\u201d Along with Corsaw, junior Tea Peltz learned about Netflix through friends and family. Peltz\u2019s favorite show Bates Motel <\/i>is currently on Netflix. She said, “It is so interesting and mysterious. It gets you hooked so you keep watching it and waiting for more episodes. I also like the style in the show. Norma Bates seems like the ideal perfect female. She cooks, cleans, she is smart, and she always wears pretty dresses.\u201d Netflix is a site that allows people to watch their favorite show or movies.<\/p>\n

Freshman Mackenzie Winrotte said she had always watched the show Friends<\/i> on Netflix. Winrotte said she feels like the show causes\u00a0her go to sleep later than she usually does. Sophomore Mimi Southwell said she \u201cstumbled upon her favorite show Criminal Minds<\/i> on television originally, then found her show directly on Netflix.\u201d Southwell knows that the show \u201cdoes not affect her in any way.\u201d<\/p>\n

There was a time when Peltz had watched Netflix for an entire weekend when she was sick. Freshman Callie Burch loves to watch her favorite show Freaks and Geeks. <\/i>The most time that she has spent watching Netflix was about \u201cseven hours in total.\u201d For nearly two years, Peltz has held her account. Corsaw has had an account for an entire year. Winrotte has had Netflix for as long as she could remember.<\/p>\n

Burch said she had already spent an entire day watching How I Met Your Mother, <\/i>but if she could have the chance to watch an entire show all day, it would have to be Freaks and Geeks.<\/i> Corsaw said if she could spend an entire day watching Netflix, she would watch\u00a0Orange is the New Black.<\/i><\/p>\n

There are alternative websites that are used to watch television shows and movies. Winrotte has also used another web site similar to Netflix, Watch 32. Hulu is a similar website to Netflix. Comedy is the main genre that Burch prefers to watch because \u201csometimes it has a life lesson towards the end.\u201d Reality, romance, comedy, horror, and mystery\/thriller are the genres that Peltz enjoys watching. Horror and comedy are the genres that Winrotte prefers watching.<\/p>\n

Netflix is a site where a person can stream thousands of television shows and movies. They are easily accessed on smartphones, tablets, or laptops.<\/p>\n
