they offer ice cream, shakes, small treats, and a taste that\u2019s unbelievable. Senior Laney Mora explained, \u201cI enjoyed a scrumptious root beer floor that hit the spot, they also have really good strawberry smoothies.\u201d She added, \u201cI like Mooney’s because it’s not just your original ice cream parlor. It makes you feel welcomed and even after you enjoy your delicious ice-cream you can grab a dum-dum sucker on your way out.\u201d Senior Anna Piazza stated, \u201cThe atmosphere is laid back, exciting, fun, new, and tasty.\u201d Mora also explained \u201cMooney\u2019s is very calm, especially right now since the bridge is getting re-done so there isn\u2019t much traffic, but it’s a cute little parlor inside, and looks sanitary.\u201d Freshman Summer Smith has an opposing opinion about Mooney\u2019s though. She said, \u201cThe atmosphere is bright and cheery but it’s a bit small and crowded.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mora didn\u2019t notice Mooney\u2019s until \u201cMy aunt decided to treat me out to ice-cream after we had a day of shopping together.\u201d Mora also added, \u201cMooney\u2019s is different because all the other ice-creams come out of a machine, yet Mooney\u2019s they scoop out the ice-cream you would like, with at least 15 different flavors.\u201d Piazza agreed Mora and saying, \u201cThere are large amounts of ice-cream for a reasonable price and there are lots of flavors to choose from.\u201d<\/p>\n
Even though students of PHS have only been to Mooney\u2019s a few times, they enjoyed the atmosphere, sweet treats, and memories made with their family and friends.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
