Photo by: Kelsey Schneiders<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" dir=\"ltr\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em>By Kelsey Schnieders<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As  November 12th rolls closer, the halls are abuzz with talk of the annual  Sweetheart dance. \u00a0Who has a date? \u00a0Who has a dress? \u00a0The Sweetheart  Dance is put on every year by the Sunshine Society, and they are putting more work than ever into this year\u2019s dance.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This year\u2019s theme is Passport to Paris,  and tons of work is going into the decorations to bring Paris to  Plymouth. \u00a0Senior and Sunshine Society President, Gaby Ramirez, said,  \u201cOur tickets have a passport look on the back, we put up posters, and  we have many decorations to have at the dance too!\u201d \u00a0There is going to  be a ton of lights, and they are even working on an Eiffel Tower and Arch  de Triumph. \u00a0\u201cEverything is going to be so pretty and nice,\u201d Shaylee Vice, senior and Sunshine Society treasurer, said.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">There is  tons of work to be done to prepare for this theme. \u00a0\u201cI don\u2019t even have a  guesstimate!\u201d Vice said when asked how many hours she thought would be  spent. \u00a0\u201cSo much time and energy and money are spent on the  decorations!\u201d she added. \u00a0Vice  and Ramirez agreed that both Mrs. Gordon and Ms. Dorland have been  slaving away, as have the other Sunshine Society officers. \u00a0\u201cWe like to  get the whole club involved and helping selling tickets during lunch,  setting up, or cleaning up,\u201d Ramirez added.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Despite all of their full-time work, they are  still really looking forward to the dance itself. \u00a0\u201cThe best part,  hands down, is getting ready!\u201d Vice said. \u00a0\u201cHaving a cute dress, shoes,  and jewelry, along with a fancy hairstyle for a night.
